Pre-Finished Flooring

We also offer pre-finished flooring in engineered and non-engineered, micro-beveled and non-micro beveled, in a variety of wood species. If you are putting hardwood on a concrete floor, a floating floor system is the best for this type of application. Certain species of woods are not appropriate for Colorado's climate and will fall apart or cause other problems. If you have your heart set on an exotic wood, engineered may be an option as it is more stable for exotic woods such as Beech or Teak.

We only carry professional quality products like Karelia which do not contain many of the defects and undesirable qualities of lesser brands of pre-finished flooring sold by many Discount Lumber Warehouses.

We offer other brands and styles of pre-finished flooring such as plank flooring and more. There are so many options in quality and style of pre-finished flooring so please contact us for more details.

About Karelia Pre-finished Engineered Flooring:
- Lifetime warranty on structural quality
- 25 year limited residential warranty on finish.
- Only available in matte finish
- No Micro Bevels

The edges of Micro-Bevel flooring are slightly rounded which will create a groove around every board that you will see. Square-Edge flooring is completely flat on the surface.

The downside to micro-bevel flooring is:

- Dirt collects in the grooves.

- When it comes to having a micro-bevel floor resanded, it requires extra sanding because the micro bevels must be sanded down due to the fact that the old finish settles in the grooves.

- You will see very pronounced seams and grooves in the floor whereas square-edge or standard hardwood flooring is completely flat when sanded and finished.
Micro-Bevel shows very noticeable, indented seams
in floor.
Micro-Bevel flooring
Micro-bevel flooring has rounded edges creating a groove between all the seams
Square-edge flooring has no groove and is flat across the seams.
Square-edge (traditional or standard) flooring. The seams are not as pronounced or noticeable and the floor is flat.
