Controlling Dust While Sanding Hardwood Floors

Even the best dust collection systems on industrial sanders leave some fine dust. We find that taping and tarping is the best and most cost-effective solution. Believe me, we don’t want dust in our finish either. So, we take precautions to minimize it as much as possible right from the start.

Our customers are usually surprised how little dust there is when we are done with their floor. It makes life easier for everybody if delicate items, curtains, chandeliers, glassware, collectibles, artwork and photos are taken down prior to having your floors done. It takes a great deal less time to remove these items than to clean them.

Here’s to everyone breathing easy.
